That was fun to read! Too many clowns in the story, but we laughed out loud a lot, Toar and I.
Some of our memories don't jibe... I thought we laughed at the little boy but maybe I laughed and you felt bad. Plus, when I heard the rain this morning I was thinking, "I hope a tornado comes through so I don't have to do this race."
And congratulations to you too, Candace. :) I couldn't be happier that you two ran together today. And you also made me cry, with your sweet comment to the Samaratin House woman about her patio. I guess my horomone is acting up.
Aw... you're such a honey- your son is such a great friend- one of my best friends. Thanks for producing him and you're missed muchly... need to see you again soon so I can introduce you to my fiance.
I'll admit, looking like gazelles at the end would be cool....
Yes that is precisely what you looked like, i turned to Cynthia at the time and remarked, "Why, they look very much like a pair of gazelles, loping across the Serengeti..." "Nope,...Oryx" she says, her voice trailing off as if envisioning the grandeur of those distant plains. "Ah yes" I said, "I concur" as you bounded herd-like across the finish line, ever wary of the predator clowns.
It's been a long time since that first walk years ago when I scared you with the funky heartbeat thingy (back when I went to a friggin' cardiologist 'cause I was so outta shape!).
I don't know why I have those stingy things in my eyes, but I do. I especially got them when I scrolled to the picture of your smiling self crossing that finish line. So cool! Thank you, Cynthia, for recording it all so well. You guys are super.

And thanks for keeping me walking and moving.

I got beat in the second round of an online golf tournament. Not nearly as impressive.

Golf games are another reason I do my best to stay away from entertaining the idea of buying an XBox 360 or Wii.
I've never played a real round of golf (just a few holes with a step grandfather years ago), but videogame golf is a weakness.
It is like crack.
Hope you and Brigitte have a snazzy weekend! I may bring sme books by at some point...

Yeah, I'm glad I don't look like I'm about to die as I crossed the line.
I was pretty wiped and out of it...
