Hello again, LJ! Hello lovely f-list! Firstly, I must apologize for my complete disappearance.  Some of you have seen me lurking in fandom and posting fic.  But as for using LJ properly…well, it’s been a couple of years, hasn’t it?

Hello there.

I had EWT telling me you still existed. I always did do other stuff more than LJ (especially since I'm not really the fannish type). But that other stuff still involves avoiding RL as much as possible! My most recent nightmare week was because there was a plague of RL problems.

I don't suppose voice recognition and control on computers is anywhere near good enough yet for you to trivially rely on it. :-/

Oh, I don't like RL nightmare problems :( I hope they all were resolved as soon as they could be :(

Voice rec. is good for emails. Not great for chat, as it often takes a long time to edit and correct and you have to use your hands anyway. It's hopeless for creative writing, which is a shame, as that would be very useful :(

But it's lovely to hear from you. That's a stunning icon :)

You've just reminded me that there's no sign of one of them genuinely being fixed yet. So I'll have to talk to some of the idiot humans again about that one.

I still haven't increased my usericons here! That one is my lovely Doorstep Frog from several years back now.
