Granfer passed yesterday morn, and we're all relieved, as he was not very comfortable his last few days, despite everything we tried to make him so. It's a guilt-free relief, since now my dad and grandma can stop worrying and start grieving.

I don’t have a very good sense of smell. Sometimes, this comes in real handy, such as in road kill, or passing dairy farms and the like. Sometimes its annoying, like when everyone else around me is obviously relishing in a well-cooked meal in the making.
