This is a great AU story, I like Veronica standing by him, and the gradual build up of their relationship. It was also good to see Aaron hoisted by his own petard.

Thank you! I thought a lot about what Veronica would have done if he'd been the one who was ostracized, and I decided that she would defend him even if she was mad at him herself!

Just read both stories and thoroughly enjoyed reading them. Your characterization of Logan and Veronica were spot on. This was an interesting take on how Logan's abuse could have come to light. I really loved it. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you! He had such a savior complex on the show, I thought it would be interesting if he'd actually been able to save his mother, in a manner of speaking--and Lilly too, for that matter.

Thanks for reading!

:) Workin' on it! I'm getting a lot of good ideas from the prompts at annie_oakley and shangri__la's new fic challenge comm.

This is completely awesome, and a perfect follow-up to the previous fic. I love that even though Logan admitted to Veronica that he staged the fight in the poolhouse, that she forgave him and stood by him. And of course I love that Logan finally dumped Lilly for good and he and Veronica ended up together :D

While I was writing it, I realized that Logan's relationship patterns with Lilly and Aaron were pretty similar (understandably). So I decided that when he chose to break the pattern with Aaron, upon realizing that his father was never going to change, that he'd end up doing the same with Lilly.
