Planning a lazy night and feeling nostalgic, I started going through my old Smallville links. Most were from 2002-3 and... not one site existed anymore, except a rec list on a lj entry

I save every fic I read and fics I may want to read. I've gone through too many author's deleting fics and websites disappearing to trust the fic will still be there in the future.

Yeah, it's a good idea! I've just been pretty lucky, so just learning that lesson now.

the worst is finding a rec list for an older fandom and half the links are dead. There isn't much one can do at that point.
