Save some time for YOURself and the fam.

I've joined Contentedly and get their articles on freelancing and one recently reminded us that one advantage of working for ourselves is that we can fly off the sched occasionally.

You don't have cows that need milking twice a day, yes? Remember to say NO sometimes!

You are now a successful author. People will suck you dry if you allow them.

You can even say, I'm sorry I've taken on too much, and I have to complete other matters first, or at all.

That saying "no" thing is hard for me. Lately I have had to delay things, tell people my November is crazy and I'll get back to them in a few weeks. That's something new for me. I usually am so on the ball that when I get a guest blog request, I can send it out within a day or now. But right now, that's just not possible.
