china. I presume this is in because I'm half-Chinese and also lived in Hong Kong during 2000-01. Most awesome experience of my life. It's such an incredible place.
Nope, it's because you're pretty like a china doll. :D

Aww, Dairy Queen shut down?? :(

Oh, why are you being so nice to me? I feel so undeserving!

Dairy Bell, actually (you of all people should remember that, teehee) and there's still all the other ones, just that specific shop did. :( Oh well, it's old history to me now anyway.

Don't be silly, you're very deserving :) besides - it's true.

Arghs, Dairy Queen is American. I've turned into an American. HELP.

OH! Fi showed me a video of people swimming down Flinders St (yes, no? i don't know which one lol), it was hilarious!

You could try hitting up the Brisbane Comedy Festival, which is obvs no where near as big and probably not as good, but there are some decent comedians. I really wanna see Josh Thomas!

FIVE YEARS SINCE HIGH SCHOOL?! Omg shit me too. Gosh we're old lol. Pretty cool that your school is doing a reunion for it though! It would be so interesting to see what everyone's been up to.

OI, CEC. CEC. STOP TRYING TO MAKE WORDS HAPPEN (mwahaha I wanna see what you come up with)

Oh yeah, that one - it's, like, THE main street in the city. Mentaaaal.

Oh, when's the Brisbane Comedy Festival? That'll be awesome still, because the big names tend to go around the country anyway (they figure they may as well, they've already come all the way to Australia!).

We are ancient. Do you just have a ten-year reunion? Ten years is better in a way, because after five, what has everyone achieved? Still at/just finished uni? Moved out? Blah blah. Ten years at least you've got something to talk about. Who's married and who's got the biggest rock!

I ALWAYS MAKE THE WORDS HAPPEN. Brisbane, Australian music, sarcasm, vampires, cupcakes (the last one is a recent addition).

We likened it to Poms who go out to sunbake because it's 25°C. (I don't know if that's actually true or not, but it's a story here.)

I've been in the UK on a warm 26 degree day and had Poms going OMG IT'S SO HOT... so it probably IS true. :P

I care! About Blue Heelers stuff! :P

Then again when it's 15°C we think it's freezing and they just shrug and think it's normal. ;P

Oh, of course! I just haven't had a conversation with you yet about it, so my brain hadn't clicked. *headdesk*

Haha true. I'm always all OMG IT'S FREEEEZING to a friend in Europe who invariably asks just HOW cold it actually is, and then laughs at me when I admit it's 12 degrees. ;)

I haven't seen him! Sob.

Hahahaha, thank God for the Hallmark channel! I watched the ep where the station blew up yesterday. Drama! (He played Tom's stepson. You know Tom's second wife Grace? Her youngest son, Nelson.)

FOOTBALLLLLL. Adelaide vs Port soon, that should be interesting.

It sucks but we would die without it, no?
