I just achieved the seemingly impossible. Because I'm crazy I decided to pick up my old bike from Oxford and take it back to York. It's old and crappy (as you all well know) but it got me to London last year and I love it very much. It sounds easy in theory to move a cycle from Oxford to London. I don't think I'd ever even used the metropolitan line before but I was very thankful of its existence on Sunday. And the bike is being put to good use here. It ferried me to the supermarket tonight to do some much needed grocery shopping. I bought lots of snacks (of the healthy and not so healthy variety) to help me survive my weekend on call.
