I can't believe how quickly August has gone by! Just a few more days left of National Art Making Month. I hope to keep drawing and coloring after the month is over, and I'll keep posting pictures here, if anybody wants to see them. :-)

That is so incredibly gorgeous!! What a rainbow of colours and combination of shades! Each one would make a lovely picture. And that must have taken a while.

Thank you! I just line up my colored pencils by color and then play with which ones look nice together -- it did take me quite awhile to do this one, but it was a very enjoyable way to spend the time. :-)

Thank you! It took a few hours, but I was watching / listening to the TV at the same time, and the time "flew" by. :-)

That is gorgeous, they really seem to almost float off the page, and the colour is so vivid yet delicate... like it should be :)

Thank you so much, I'm glad you liked it! I think the floating owes a lot to the dash of shading I added (though I forgot to put that on a couple of the feathers).
