New Layout

I changed my layout...again. I really loved the Cara/Kahlan one but it was evil, and I'm pretty sure it really did not like me. Seriously, it was just mean.

Warning: If you don't like Legend of the Seeker, go away. : )

Anywho, I finally read Wizard's First Rule, I've had the damn book for nearly two years, I just never got around to reading it, and ( Read more... )

legend of the seeker, wizard's first rule, ramblings

I hope you were just as horrified and slightly turned on as I was
LOLLL.

Yes, I agree about Denna! Jess is adorb but bookDenna was too amazing. It was heartbreaking. I cried too.

OMGGG GURL wait til you meet book!Cara :D :D I know you won't believe me or can even concieve it rn, but in some ways she is so much more awesome than tv!Cara. Jesus I love her so hard.

If you want to read Stone of Tears now (and the rest of the books) I have free download links of the e-books if you want them? :) It's so much easier to copy/paste sections when you feel like fangirling over them then ;P

I almost couldn't keep reading after the whole Denna part, I was kind of devastated. It was so sad.

Book!Cara more awesome? How is that possible?! Lol. I guess I just have to take your word for it, because I didn't think Kahlan could get any more awesome, and I was totes wrong. Lol.

YES, PLEASE! Me wants them! OMG I love you forever! You are too awesome!! ; )

Here is a link that has all of them uploaded individually :D

Kahlan is even more awesome in Stone of Tears than WFR ;) She does some crazy badass shit! And Cara is introduced at the end of the book for a page or two, so you have that to look forward to.

LOL! ; )

It's going to fry my eyes and brain reading them on my computer, but if I don't I will probably die from the lack of them. Lol. This is just temporary until I can get my hands on the actual books though. I've only read 15 pages of SoT and my head already feels like it's going to explode. Damn you computer screen! =D
But I guess the pain is worth it. Lol.

Musings on Cara... thresherofmen March 14 2010, 10:57:28 UTC
... I have SUCH mixed feelings about our favorite assassin/dominatrix. Be warned, I have only watched the TV show. Haven't read the book(s). And, of course, because I'm a dude, I'm thinking of this in terms of Cara as a mate ( ... )

I agree! She is the one I would want beside me, should I happen to be in a fight like that. Like you said, she is the best fighter with the most training. Mord-Sith like Cara are trained for many years to become what they are. They have to endure many, many horrid things to be strong and able to fight like they do. The agiel actually causes as much pain to its holder as it does to the people they use it on. That's balls, my friend ( ... )

I have bought the first 4 books and now I'm reading "Wizard's First Rule". It's really great, but I have left 300 pages. I have no time because of that stupid school and I still can't finish it. I HATE SCHOOL!!! The book is really darker than the tv show, but I love it! Especially the Richard/Kahlan moments. I can't wait for the Demmin Nass part. I have heard about it and think that would be fun :D Damn, I love Kahlan. I love the show! I love the books!

P.S: Sorry for my bad English :D

The book is definitely much darker, I don't know whether I enjoy the darkness of the book better, or the lightness of the show. Sometimes being constantly horrified can wear a person out...I guess it's good I have the show to bring some light to the darker parts of the book. Sure the show has its dark moments too, but not as many as the books. : ) And the Demmin Nass part may be the BEST thing I have ever read. I was like "YOU GO KAHLAN!" Lol.
I agree, I love Kahlan. I love the show. And I love the books too! ; )

Oh, and don't worry about the english, I didn't even notice. I have bad english too, and I live in America. Hehe. =D

I want this book RIGHT NOW! I don't know where to buy it here in my country so I'm considering buying it on the internet... now. The book is always better no matter how much we love the move/tv show so I have no doubt the book is awesome! (I'm really buying it while I'm writing this comment)
Thank you for friending me back! We're both LOTS obsessed but I just saw Hayley, Taylor Swift, Saoirse Ronan and Tegan & Sara here :D yay!

Yay! I'm glad that I've pushed someone into getting the book! I'm sure you will enjoy it just as much as I did/do. : ) And yeah, books are always better than their on screen adaptations, whether it be TV or movie, that's definitely a given. =D

You're welcome! It's always great to find people who are into the same things as me. And thank you for friending me!
I LOVE your icon, by the way. ; )

I haven't read those. I don't watch the show either, though.
It does suck when you really want a book to be good and you buy it and it totally sucks. : (
