Echo had been cooped up all winter, waiting for spring to arrive. Sure, she had spent some time outside playing in the snow, but she's a nymph, and nymphs like warm weather. So when she saw it was getting nice out, she happily went outside ( Read more... )

Here's someone that's familiar and feeling much, much better than before. Asato recognizes her as the kind, if a bit strange, person that he picked flowers with.

He's a bit shy to approach her, but he'll wave if she happens to look in his direction.

She might be looking around again, sitting up and taking a break from her reverie, when she spots him and waves.

Asato walks over to her, crouching down nearby and smiling a bit at her. "Hello again."

There aren't any daisies to pluck yet, but Robin might find a blossom from a nearby tree, pluck it, and he'll offer it without a word to Echo.

He likes her, she's so adorable.

She looks up, seeing Robin, and accepts the blossom gladly, blushing a little.

Robin wriggles his eyebrows. "Doing well?"

Echo wanders outside, pleased with the change in weather and wanting to enjoy the sunny day before it gets too hot in summer. If this place has a summer?

The crat finds lady!Echo and picks his way over the grass to her, watching what she's doing curiously.

Echo eventually notices the cat (!) and looks over at him, curious.

Echo looks up at her. "Hello. I do hope I'm not bothering you."

Well, that's interesting.

"...bothering you." She smiles--she's not too surprised by any sort of talking creature anymore.

Sorry so late - can we still play? Ignore if not, we'll likely survive. surfaceshine May 14 2011, 03:14:09 UTC
My, my, the mood swings. Dean has been vacillating between pretty much alright, manic happiness, and biting moodiness pretty much... since this time last year, but whatever, who's counting. Not Dean. What Dean is trying to count is windows, because working on his project from inside the house is not really working.

That's how he first sees her, and a few moments later, decides worse things could happen than bombing another conversation.

"They make lawnmowers for that, you know." It doesn't come out quite as friendly as he meant it, but neither is it as bitchy as he's been, so he'll call it a win.

Dean takes that as encouragement, even though he doesn't really understand how it could be, and moves closer. One eyebrow is raised in... it's not really strongly anything at this point to be called something else besides interest, but it'll get there.

"Yeah, I do. Kinda. Never had a lawn to mow, so not firsthand, but yeah." He tries for a small smile, and half makes it, because he's trying to be cute with his response.
