Nick smiled at her, looking slightly nervous. Her surprise trip to get measured, earlier in the day, had been interesting enough, but at least when that was over, he had a new suit. It was a lightweight silk and linen blend, in black. He really liked the grey striped shirt he had underneath, and left the top two buttons undone.

"Very different, good or bad? I mean..." He took in a deep breath and nodded before letting it back out. Using his free hand, he undid another button. "I...I'm ready."

"Well, honey, like most things that are created by, run by or involve my brother, it's all a matter of perspective, really."

Carolina laughed, and smoothed his collar. "This suit is incredible. Tom's designs are really suited to you, Nick." It was an amazing suit, cut to show off all of the best features of his body. The broad shoulders and chest. The washboard abs. The perfect ass and long legs. He looked damn hot.

"Mmmmm, no." Caro rebuttoned the shirt button he undid. "I have no idea if Alex is here or not. Let's not tempt fate." With a slight giggle, she pulled his hand to pass the line out front and go up to the entrance. The staff there knew her, and let them in.

Nick followed her in, politely nodding at the staff. He wasn't used to getting the celebrity treatment in places like this, at least not without being escorted by a police officer.

He held on to her hand tight. He had no intentions of getting separated from her in a crowd like this. He stepped closer to her and kissed her cheek, while looking around.

"Do I get a tour?"

Carolina kept a possessive and protective hold on Nick's hand. Several women and men were eyeing him.

"Yes, of course. But how about a drink, first? What sounds good to you?"

Alex had been trying to keep a low profile, but Ludmilla, he had decided was part bloodhound. The papers she's shoved into hands turn out to be wonderful prop however when Alex approaches Carolina and Nick.

"Excuse me, sir... miss... If you could just sign here so we can put tonight's surveillance tape on pay per view on the net... that'd be just nifty keen." Alex taps Carolina on the shoulder with the sheath of sheets about pay raises and taxes.

Oh, she's drunk. Mmmm hmmm. But she's happy and glowing, and doesn't bother to disengage from her fiance, before reaching out with one arm to pull Alex in for a hug and kiss. It brings them all very close, but she's happy. Happy. Happy.

"You should wait. It's Nick's birthday. Check out the custom suit Tom made for him. Luscious, huh?" In a very naughty whisper, she giggled in Alex's ear. "You should show the video after I give him his spanking."

Nick still had his hands resting low on her hips, even while she hugged and kissed her brother. He doesn't really mind how close they all are, partly because he's just not thinking about it. Carolina's body was quite a lovely distraction.

Carolina tastes like something that isn't Carolina. This isn't like getting a peck on the cheek after Nick has had the same. Alex licks lips. He actually tasted Nick in her kiss. It doesn't hurt that they're close enough together for a change Alex is breathing in the other man too.

Nick must be half-ripped or he would have jumped back by now.

"Such a pretty pair of lovebirds. You're making everyone else in the place jealous. Are you going to tell me what's up tonight or are you two planning some secret mischief that I'm not allowed to hear about?"
