I didn't expect to recap 1.14 and yet here I am, still avoiding my unfinished Summergen fic. I'm actually writing this in real time, as I watch the episode. So for once I'm not pretending I don't know what happens. I literally don't know.

And what are they doing on this trail ride anyway - taking the herd back to the Walker ranch?...How will they get the truck? Why didn't Cordell just say "let's go back to the ranch and get Daddy's cattle trailer?" WHY.

Cordell found someone willing to take in a goddamn llama

To be honest, if Jared Padalecki knocked on your door and asked you to take in a homeless llama, you totally would, you know it.

They're building a little stable. Because this big horse ranch doesn't have enough stables. Liam, who was bedridden to the point of not being able to eat barbeque yesterday, is now helping build. Hey, it's Texas--you can never have too many stables (or guns. Or off-the-wall plot developments.) And clearly Liam has the same super-healing genetic make-up his brother ( ... )

To be honest, if Jared Padalecki knocked on your door and asked you to take in a homeless llama, you totally would, you know it.

I would definitely say “why don’t you come in and tell me all about it; I’m sure we can come to some kind of arrangement.” 😉

I think flashbacks with Emily could enlightening if they stopped making her a perfect little Mary Sue. And I think Stella has been absolved of the only mistake she owns up to - “letting love in.” Not “gaslighting Daddy.” She didn’t seem to have a problem with that.”

Jared's speech and facial twitchiness have been there most episodes - I don't know what it's about but it bothers me a lot and I'm finding it very distracting, which is annoying.

It's 71 miles away! It's an hour and a half driving! How will they get the truck? Why didn't Cordell just say "let's go back to the ranch and get Daddy's cattle trailer?" WHY. (No one cares. No one but you thinks about these things.) - Actually that bothered me the whole time - where was the truck they drove there in? They just left it behind? They just happen to find a nice big unoccupied barn with stabling for 4 horses and (subsequently) 2 alpacas?

So many mysteries to be solved - why does Grandpa love that stupid grandma? Why is Stella so annoying? What is it with the awful music all the time? When's Cordell going to get into whipping off his shirts like Trey keeps doing? Does Cordell wax his chest like his brother?

OK... I'm very late to the party because I've been procrastinating so bad, but I encouraged your reviews and I'm never not going to show up.
But... I've left it so long now and the only questions I can ask now are... uhm. Was that Alpaca supposed to be prophetic and are they going to have a custody battle over Mitch Pileggi now?
(I'm sorry, I have no idea whether you even want to engage with the drama, it's completely fine if you don't, but I have so many, MANY FUCKING FEELINGS RIGHT NOW)

Clearly you do not follow me on Tumblr, where I have been engaged in the drama ALL DAY LONG. And yes, OBVIOUSLY the alpaca was foreshadowing. We were just too blind to see.
