Valentine's Day.

I can't help but be amused by it. Not because of the curse going around, or the flowers and hearts... Though the little cherubic references are a different story altogether.

Time for a little bit of family history, I think.

So, about Cupid. He's my Great-Grandfather.

unaffected, past, valentine's, 22, home

Really? Does that mean you've met him?

Unfortunately (or fortunately), no. We're probably centuries apart.

My mother probably did, though.

So, what's he like where you're from?

Just a regular fairy, I suppose. Which, back then, probably meant he caused some mischief with the humans above ground. It would certainly explain the stories.

See, where I come from, Faeries are pretty mean.

Revelations regarding notable figures of history and folklore go so much better when Goodfellow isn't the one making them.

I spoke to Robin about him, actually. And while I don't know how true any of it was, I didn't have to hear his version of my Great-Grandfather.

I've been spared so far.

Are you planning to do anything besides watch the chaos unfold?

Not really. I could annoy the Mud Boy about whether he's got plans with Menolly or not, but I'm not in the mood to channel Robin right now.
