I like writing down my movie thoughts, but I've got a lot to do tonight because I'm heading on a mini-vaca to the snow for a few days leaving tomorrow, so here are my brief, unspoilery opinions for those looking to see a movie or two.

Thanks for this!

I'm planning on seeing Holmes and Up in the Air and its nice to hear that they're both solid movies. I was a little worried about both:

1) Sherlock Holmes looked like a blockbuster and I was kind of worried the plot would be lost on big explosions and big boobs (Rachel McAdams)

2) Up in the Air looks like a indie film, and indie films can either be really good......or absolutely terrible.

So in short, thank you very much, if this was on IMDB I would say this is very useful to me ;)

Ahaha, no problem.

Yeah, they marketed Holmes like a total blockbuster, but it wasn't all explosions or boobs. Rachel McAdams was actually fantastic, but I think Watson steals the spotlight. And you get to see a little into Holmes' mind/thought processes, which was pretty cool.

And Up in The Air was good but, like I said, sad.

Glad to be of some help. :D I personally hate spending money on movies that end up being shit.

You'll have to let me know what you think of them when/if you see them!

And as a side note, if you haven't bothered to see Inglorious Basterds yet, GO SEE IT IMMEDIATELY. Especially if you like offbeat humor, action movies, and intricate winding plots-or anything Tarantino.

We've had the pirated DVD sitting on our coffee table for a while, so I might look into that. I love Tarantino and from what I heard (because I heard my brother watching it from my room lol) it sounds VERY typically Tarantino, lol. I even recognized some music used in it from Kill Bill.
