[ Han wasn't the only one trying to sulk and drown his sorrows in either booze or a good game of cards. His sister-in-law kind-of-acquaintance was doing just about the exact same thing.

Which meant that invariably, one of the bars he'd end up sulking in, would have a redhead already camped out at the bar, a half-empty drink, in one hand, and an eye on the card table. ]

[The bar that she was in was one that he had to practically had to go to every bar on the Upper East Side to find the one she was in. Armed with the suit that James bought him and a disarming smile, Han went to the bar and ordered his drink before noticing his future sister-in-law.]

Didn't expect to see you here.

[ She turned, an eyebrow arching in surprise, before she took her own in hand. ]

Likewise, and definitely not in... that. [ Mara still perpetually dons the leathers of a good old Assassin. ]

[he pulls at the lapels of his jacket to show off the fine work that Bond did picking it out.]

I heard that's what you need to get the most of the town. [leaning against the bar, being very nice and flashy.] Are you here for the game?

[Bars are good. Especially when you've been emotionally kicked around by someone you trust and care about. And your other housemate isn't exactly good at being the comforting type.

Also, all of the ice cream is gone.

So! Gin and tonics it is, for Ariadne. While she decides whether to try and pick someone up for the night - she doesn't usually do that sort of thing, but recent events have her feeling a bit uncharacteristically lonely. But the poker table looks vaguely promising.]

[he wouldn't notice Ariadne at first. Han spends time watching players and their tells, their every call, their every play to see just how much he can win at these games.

Then again, it might be hard to spot Han without his trademark striped pants and leather jacket. Instead, he's wearing a very finely tailored suit and blending right in.]

[After some consideration, Ariadne decides a better use of her time would be to practice her pickpocketing skills. She's only done it a couple of times in reality, but she hasn't been caught yet, and what better population to try it on than a bunch of half-drunk gamblers with all their attention focused on the poker table?

She meanders over, pretending to watch the game with interest, but really she's scoping out a likely target. Several of the men have their jackets off, folded over the backs of their chairs, and it's easy enough to brush past them the way Eames showed her.]

[Oh, would you look at that? Han's almost amused to see an amateur try and pick someone's pocket. But, he had to give her points for strategy. Eyeing her over his drink, he'd wait for her to do the dirty work for him before he hit her. That would be enough to buy in, he would assume.]

[it's not really that much of a surprise.] What a surprise, Mr. Suit.

Look at you, Mr. Costume, leaving the apartment without me offering death threats. It's very impressive.
