[ With the triumphant return of Bones, Kirk is moving inside and outside of House 7. He glances around at the house and inside. Holidays are coming up, and Kirk never celebrated many holidays growing up. Not to mention that most of Earth didn't celebrate some of the holidays that Old Earth did

[Buffy catches sight of Kirk on his departure just as she arrives with one last box in her arms. Clearly, she didn't waste time on this whole moving in idea.

She peers over the top of the wooden crate, a grin too impossible to stop growing wider as she approaches.]

Guess that's the unexpected plus of a population that doesn't stay dead.

[Involuntary shudder.]

Ew, gross? Let's not go there. I don't need my first night as an official resident here to be all interrupted by rotting zombie nightmares.

Buff. You kill vampires, but zombies are freaky?

They're all...melty and they smell. At least vampires don't rot.

They just you know, suck out our blood.

Not if I've got anything to say about it. My plan is to keep your neck--and other necks--as puncture free as possible.

[She idly taps the last box with her foot.] Couldn't help but notice that the Doctor's back.

Yeah. Bones ... he got one of those letters, to go back home, Buff. I know he wants to go home, but I had to remind him that there's no way they'd just send us back home so easily. None.

[slaying]

You're right. It wouldn't happen. It didn't make such sense, anyway. How's one portal gonna open up to a bunch of different worlds? And it's not like we got here by a portal in the first place.

[Watch it, Summers. Your showing your brain.]

[ Then he sighs. ]

Bones just wants back to the ship so much, he's becoming desperate, I think.

He never gave the big impression of actually enjoying being on a spaceship. But, I guess, he's missing the responsibility?

[She shrugs.]

He's like that. He'll miss home even if he wants you to think he hates it.
