Umm, I can tell you right now that it clearly isn't. That's all I've been doing lately...that and going to work, and I'm always tired. My plan of sleeping until I'm not tired any longer isn't working.

a good quantity of sleep works well for me [8]

or naps, like Im about to go do now when I get 6 or less.

mmhmm.

But anyway, it won't always work at first varying on your lifestyle and habits and stress factors.. Too little and too much sleep could be just as bad as insomnia. Anyhoo. nap time.

ach, tis true.
consider:
lifestyle = no-sleep,
stress = high. but i don't get stressed out. or maybe i do and don't notice. eh.

less is always better than more, anyhow.

Ms. Thompson said you fell asleep in Music Theory today...that is one way to get sleep I guess. Bad timing, though.

oh, it was awful! and apparently she's telling everyone...i fell asleep at this really interesting point in her lecture, simply because the fact that, unusually enough, i'm attempting to catch up on sleep means that i'm even tired-er.

it was awful.

weeee I just learned about this today. In fact you have a "sleep debt" and it is nearly impossible to "catch up" on lost sleep... And varying on how much you may be getting a night, you must acquire REM [as every night you have REM and dream] to be a successful sleep. [REM occurs every 90 minutes, though the "Deep Sleep" of REM occurs within the 7-8 [or was it 9?]th hours of sleep and therefore, no matter how much REM you may be getting, maybe 180 minutes worth, its no way sufficient enough and your body and memory just starts to shut down ... and you'll find yourself asleep anywhere, despite your mood before.
Oh... and mid-day naps aren't good. Least, limit them to 20 minutes.. Apparently, so I'm told, you'll be more energetic than you would if you had a 3 hour nap.. And that way, it doesn't collide with your regular sleep pattern.

Yep Yep.

With love,
Yogi.
