I went to post something really private for myself. And then when I changed the security setting, it was like, "Oh okay. Plus your local friends, right?" And I'm like, "What? NO!" So I go back and edit it again, and then it posts it and goes, "I got it this time. For your family, right

First thing to do on LJ is to kick out those weird groups and make new ones just for yourself and name them like "WITHOUT my **** family" and stuff like "Post here to not worry your friends" :D

Yeah, thankfully I never used those groups. I only made a few groups for the few people I trust to look at my private entries (if they so choose) and groups to filter my friends page. It's not worth it anymore. Only three communities actually survived the DDoS
