When I started writing this, I remember that Callie really had no idea what to expect from the evening. She wasn't really even sure what had made her ask him to dinner, but once he was there - she was glad he came.

"L" word series might imply that someone needs to say "I love you." But for this universe and this Callie, "L" word stands for learning to let go. A very important lesson, one that will hopefully be illuminated in the next and "final" piece of this series. Enjoy.

PS I told you Callie would make it up to him that she played such a trick on him earlier, didn't I? :)

before I collapse in a puddle of Iz Ded, I have only one thing to say -

>She knew in that moment he wouldn’t hurt her.
>She also knew there were rules.
>She knew that some rules were meant to be broken.
um, wait, doesn't that mean that...no, it can't mean he'd hurt her.

now, if you'll excuse me, I'll reply some more when I'm coherent again.

When I wrote this, I was pretty sure the rules she was referring to meant that whole "fishing off the company pier" thing... particularly when you already know your best friend is sleeping with the boss on the team. haha. She knows Colby won't hurt her, not intentionally.

Just one more piece and I think it's my favorite so far. hehe. You might want to hydrate yourself for that one too. LOL. Glad you enjoyed although I probably should apologize about the puddle of iz ded on the floor. ;p
