Millenniums of knowledge seem to amount to nothing, when you think on it... How much don't we know? Of course, the fundamental question that has yet to be answered piques my curiosity as well...

What is love?

((Out for the night! Will pick up later, poke me if there's a specific thread I haven't gotten to and you want to continue with it.))

I'm sure there are lots of fundamental questions other than that that we haven't answered yet.

Surely none as pertinent as this one.

That's a matter of opinion, I think.

You don't find this interesting in the least?

It is a brain-generated physiological process of neurochemicals, hormones and pheromones. It also refers to an intrapersonal relationship between two people.

... Is it truly that simple?

I don't know. I suppose 'psychological' would mean that it varies from person to person.

"Love means never having to say you're sorry."

And on the occasion that you are truly apologetic?

I'm still waitin' on that.

...Well, it's really quite difficult to describe a feeling. But, ah... Overwhelming concern for another person, perhaps? Though it really depends upon what sort of love you're speaking of...

Perhaps. Oh, all sorts. Whichever one you'd be more comfortable discussing.

Well, there's love of the familial variety, and the love one feels toward a dear friend, which, ah, seem to be distinguished by the sort of obligation one feels to these different sorts of people. And then there's romantic love, which seems another thing altogether.

Is there a reason for your query, sir?

Merely curious.

Discussion with good company is always in fashion, regardless of topic or if there's even one at all!

He's safe then?

Everyone in this place keeps saying that you changed your name. That doesn't sound right.
