Character: Kaede Nagase
Series: Mahou Sensei Negima!

Canon: Kaede is one the tallest students in Mahora Academy Junior High Section's class 3-A, as well as being the second strongest of the 3A Martial Arts Elite Four, having the second largest bust, and being the third from the bottom of the class, earning her the role as "Baka Blue" of the class's Baka Rangers. She can always be relied on to remain calm and relaxed, even when things seems dire, as nothing seems to surprise her (even when she founds out that her 10-year-old teacher is a mage) - and don't let her smiling, closed-eyes face fool you. Although she avoids saying so, she is a ninja (and a chuunin at that!): capable of performing a body split technique similar to Naruto's Kage Bushin no Jutsu, and is very strong. Her most notable weapon is a large, rotatable shuriken. She speaks very traditionally, using "sessha" for her first person and ending her sentences with "de gozaru" instead of "desu". She also tends to add "nin nin" to her sentences when there is something to do with her ninja abilities.

Well, well, this is certainly an interesting place-de gozaru (I wonder if it has anything to do with Negi-bouzu). During the school break, I was hoping to go somewhere new for my training nin nin, but I was under the impression that this place was supposed to be devoid of civilisation. Also, all these zombies running around make me wonder if I have arrived in the wrong place. Some of them chased me when I neared the buildings, and although I tried to stop them, it seems that they are immune to being stabbed and sliced, so I have taken to watching from up in a tall tree. Ah~, the breeze is so refreshing-de gozaru.

Ah, but these kunai and shuriken I have seen scattered around the area; they aren't mine ... This may be the place after all. I was not expecting company, though. It has been so long since I have met other people who are also participating in the same training as me. Nin nin. Oh well, could be fun-de gozaru! (I am curious about all these references to "gay ninjas" I keep hearing.)

The view from here is very good - I can see all the way to the lake. But, my, a lot of the people here need to loosen up. They really need to calm down and relax a little more: you wake up with a clear head and with a better idea of how to tackle a problem, right? I heard something about solving a murder (to get out of here? hmm ... although being Baka Blue, I won't be much help there, ahaha), but everyone seems so high strung that no one is focusing on doing the actual solving. Things can't be that bad-de gozaru. These people need to sit down, and breathe. Chill~. Relax~.

... These zombies are rather persistent, aren't they? They can't seem to realise that they can't climb too well. Oh, but I need to collect my weapons so I can keep training (especially my special shuriken nin nin). I would perform a body split and go down there and fend off the zombies while collecting my weapons, but after seeing ... something, I think I'll just stay up here and wait for them for an opportunity to get inside one of the buildings. Playing around with Negi-bouzu is cute, but I don't fancy that kind of physical contact, ahaha ...

Character: Otomiya Haine
Series: Shinshi Doumei Cross (Gentlemen's Alliance Cross - series reference)

Canon: Haine is spirited, cheery and... a bit of a ditz. She goes to a school for exceedingly wealthy people, and is on the student council (as a bodyguard for the school student body president, called Shizumasa, whom she's madly in love with). She's not stupid but rather naive. She used to be a gangster and was called "Cinderella of the Beach", but when she met Shizumasa, she changed. However, because she went into a rage during school time, most of the other students are now scared of her. As a result of this, Haine is actually a very talented fighter, but prefers to keep this side of her nature as repressed as possible. Because of this, she comes across as having a little bit of a split personality.

Dear diary,

Hee! I can't believe I just wrote "dear diary"! Doesn't that sound so silly? But I don't know what else to start a journal entry with! I've never kept one before... but Maora-chan said once that I should keep a journal, because it would help improve my spelling! And Maora-chan is very smart, so lets start diary-ing!

The beginning: My family and I are on vacation for the summer in America! Today my parents decided that we should take a lovely scenic walk in the forest nearby our motel. So we were walking for a while and admiring the scenery, when suddenly I saw a movement in the corner of my eye, and went to investigate...

But I wasn't scared, no siree! I thought "If it's just a cute woodland creature, I'll pet it and then turn back!" (though someone said to watch out for... 'rabies'? I wonder what that is...?) and "If it's an escaped convict, I'll scare him away with tales of all my numerous deeds as a delinquent!" but then the next thing I know, someone hit me on the back of my head, and then my knees felt weak and my vision started to swim and then I... I think I blacked out!

And when I woke up, I found myself ... here! I'm not exactly sure where 'here' is, though. All I know from what I've gleaned is that it's some form of summer camp, and that there are "zombies" that we're supposed to kill with shotguns! I've been given a shotgun, but I'm not sure exactly how to use it- I mean, I've seen lots of action movies, so I'm sure I'll figure it out!

Or I would, if I could stay. See, this camp sounds like it's really fun, but my parents will be very worried about me by now! So as soon as I can get directions to the administration, I'll just ask them the way out and explain calmly that I'm sorry that I have to leave so soon, but I'd love to come on their camp next holidays!

Oh, there's a "zombie" in my room! Hello Mr Zombie! Wow, their costumes look really cool, this clo... WAIT THE ZOMBIES ARE REAL?! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEKKK. Calm down, Haine! Pinch yourself! You're dreaming! Ack, stay away! MEEPyoudon'twantme! I've got 30% body fat anyway! I'm faaaat! EWWW STOP IT'S GROPING ME! NO! MUST. STAY. PURE. FOR SHIZUMASA-SAMAAAAaasdjksdhdkfjbvmlnbxcljh...

... Well, at least I've learned how to use a shotgun now!

Character: Minashiro Tsubaki
Series: Soukyuu no Fafner

Canon: Tsubaki is the Core of Tatsumiya Island, the island on which most of the series canon happens. That means she knows everything that happens on the island by being the ultimate peeping tom (okay, so she's connected to everyone. Same difference). She's been asleep for the first years of her life which means that despite her aged talk and understanding of the island's people, she's pretty inexperienced in actual human life. She sort-of bounces backwards and forwards between seriousness and happy-go-lucky; she's mostly seen laughing when she does something she hasn't done before (like walking, talking, playing in the mud...). She (almost) never uses any honorifics and calls everyone by their given name, regardless of their age or position. Her only remaining family is her older brother Soushi; he's got a... eh... passionate friendship with Makabe Kazuki (who looks just like Shinn. Really). Tsubaki herself is pretty busy with trying to teach the Festums (think Borgs, just in gold and on LSD. Add tentacles. Stir) the nature of humanity, against all common sense. She mostly does this because she feels some sort of kinship with them as all the younger characters are crossbred with genetic material of the Festums.

This camp (which is apparently called Fuck You Die, what a strange
name!) feels very different from Tatsumiya... and that's not only
because I haven't watched every moment of those peoples' lives
on hidden cameras don't know anything of the people here. I
really should've been alarmed from the start:

There are Festum victims all over the place and nobody really seems
to care, apart from swearing at them and shooting at them, but
that doesn't really seem to work. The few people I've talked
with call them "zombies," which is strange, because they repeat the
same things over and over just like those assimilated by Festums.
They just look sort of... frazzled at the edges. I already saw one
at the lake, but it isn't acting like one of the Festums at home at
all. Perhaps the Festums here really are different. I
definitely need to investigate them, , I must protect the people here!

Then there are the beetles. I love catching cute stag beetles with
Rina-chan back on Tatsumiya, but I don't remember them having fangs!
And their eyes glowing in the dark is rather new to me as well!

...I swear they're looking at me. Hungrily. They're also
hissing whenever I pass them, and their eyes are following me around
all day...

...

Anyway! Speaking of insects, the bees here are very weird as well!
They also seem to be following me around, and they apparently have
quite a high level of intelligence unlike most of the other campers
I've met so far. At least, the way they organize themselves looks
a bit like writing. I don't know what "W3 w4n7 70 p0und y0ur y0un6
1nn0c3n7 b0dy |1k3 7h3 h1v3 m1nd w3 4r3" means, but their humming
is pretty aggressive!

And there were some other surprises, too: Kazuki came over here with
me! He's acting very strangely, though; I think the Festums infected
him with their sparkle, since, for some reason, he's calling himself
Shinn and chasing people around with firecrackers! I really need to
talk to him; this sort of behaviour is not what I expect of my
brother's semi-boy best friend!

As it is, the Festum in the lake might be beyond my control, but the
various types of "zombies" around here might be interested in human
nature! Maybe there are even more Festums here. I shall try my best
to teach them!

Character: Ryouga Hibiki
Series: Ranma 1/2

Canon: Ryouga Hibiki is the main rival of Ranma 1/2's man
character, Ranma Saotome. He has a horrible sense of direction. and gets
lost frequently, even indoors. It usually takes him days for him to find
head where he wants to go. Ryouga is driven, and somewhat short
tempered, but can also be somewhat shy, especially when talking to girls
he likes. He's not dumb, but is often gullible, having very much been
fooled several times when Ranma disguised himself as a girl. He's prone
to bouts of heavy depression sometimes, depression which fuels one of
his strongest attacks, the Shi Shi Hokoudan. Ryouga is also cursed by
the springs of Jusenkyo in China, due to an accident involving Ranma
knocking him into the Spring of Drowned Pig, resulting in, when splashed
with cold water, Ryouga becoming a little black piglet.

1:10pm: What kind of a twisted place IS this?! I'm trapped
here, in a place which the other residents call a "summer camp", that is
partly inhabited by strange people who have any number of strange
lesions on their faces and missing body parts. I talked to one, but all
he did was try and bite me. I don't think he'll bother me anymore
though, not without his teeth.

Most of the campers here are rather friendly, though. They are an odd
mix, with a couple of ninjas, people calling themselves Shinigami, even
though I don't see them carrying scythes, some robots, even an alien
from a distant planet and one claiming to be from China during the time
of the Three Kingdoms! I'm having trouble telling which are men and
which are women though. Some of them are very feminine looking...

But I miss Akane. I miss the way she hugs my porcine form at night, the
way she smiles at me so lovingly, the way she'd be so earnest, even if
she accidentally ties my limbs up trying to help me, that attractive
look of fury on her face when she beats on Saotome when he offends
her... I just can't stand being trapped so far from her!

I'd better go, before I end up destroying this computer...

---

3:00pm: I think I should hold back on using the perfect Shi Shi Hokoudan
here. One of the younger members, the one with the unusally large head,
is talking about a green light rising up into the sky. Next time, I'm
using a secluded spot.

---

4:45pm: Some great news! There are ACTUAL Jusenkyo Springs
here! IN THIS CAMP! I can be cured of my curse of the pig! I can
finally tell Akane how I feel, and not have to suffer the painful
consequences of her finding out about who the pig she sleeps with every
night really is! I CAN BE FREE!

...but which spring will cure my curse? They don't seem to be labeled.

Oh well. I'll just pick one and hope for the best.

Character: Dio Eracles
Series: Last Exile

Canon: Dio is first seen as the young master
of the Guild, a hated organization that rules the sky
in the Last Exile universe. Hence, he often appears as
proud and does whatever he pleases. However, Dio’s
willful and childish personality bought his way into
the hearts of his enemy, Claus, who ended up standing
up for him when his sister, Maestro Delphine,
forcefully broke his spirit and turned him into her
mindless successor. Dio is a talented Vanship pilot
who is liberated by flight and shares a sweet
friendship with his navigator Luciora, who is also his
childhood companion. He is absolutely terrified of the
colour red, more specifically red petals and has an
unhealthy obsession with “Immelmann” or Claus.

Silly Luciora! Why does he take everything so
seriously? I just told him to jump off the vanship and
he really did so! Well, I couldn’t let him fall to the
ground alone could I? Who will take care of him then?
So I jumped too.

It was fantastic! The triple turn dive I did could
easily rival Immelmann’s turn! I think I broke rib or
two when I crashed through the roof of some sort of
primitive lodging and thankfully onto some coarse
bedding. I doubt I would have survived otherwise. But
it has been ages since I hit the ground and still no
sight of that silly Luciora. Humph! If Luciora wants
to play hide-and-seek so be it! I shall explore this
new land instead!

I have never really seen what the lands are like.
After all, Guild members are not allowed to mingle
with the groundlings. Apparently, this is some sort of
camp. I don’t know what a camp is but this place is
sure strange. According to what Al and Lavie have
described, the ‘ground’ shouldn’t be as foggy and dark
as this place. And I don’t remember they speaking
about things like water puddles that nearly dissolved
my shoes. I am pretty certain that she didn’t mention
anything about those ugly creatures that wander around
aimless.

Zombies… I think that is what they are called. Because
I saw a half chewed sign that said, “DON’T TALK TO
ZOMBIES, THEY BITE” and when I tried asking one of
them if they had seen Luciora, it stopped chewing on
the sign and started chomping on my arm. It took a few
stabs (2) of my knife to get rid of it but it was too
late to save my white sleeve. Though it survived the
‘zombie’ attack and left my arm intact, I don’t think
the green saliva stain will ever wash away.

*sigh*

I miss clean linen, clear water and food that does not
taste like dust. Most of all… I miss
Luciora…

Character: Yuuki Nao
Series: My Hime

Canon: Nao, like eleven other girls in her series, is a HiME, and is gifted with the ability to see a strange red star in the sky that no one else (except for other HiME, of course) can. In addition to that, she has a strange red birthmark and the ability to summon a creature known as a 'Child' (think Pokemon or Digimon, or heck, even FFX) and wield their powers. The purpose of the HiME is to destroy monsters called 'Orphans' that have been lurking around Fuuka, but the actual reason for the HiME's existance is much more than it seems.

Yuuki Nao is probably best described as the 'bad girl' of her series. She doesn't care about fighting Orphans, and would rather use her powers for personal gain. Her hobby is seducing older men, and then robbing them blind with her HiME powers and her Child, Julia. She has a rather cynical outlook on life, and is quite bitter towards the other HiME at Fuuka. In other words? Nao would rather drop dead than work together with any of them, including the proposed 'Hime Rangers' Orphan fighting group.

[Private]
Fucking makes me sick. 'Oh, Nao, we should form the new "Hime Rangers!"' 'Nao, be a dear and go visit this camp!' I should have rammed the itinerary back down Midori's throat. Who the hell looks into 'training camps' without actually doing any real research into them, anyway? Did she even think to read the name out loud? Y'know, it might just be me, but 'Fuck You Die' is a shifty name for a camp.

Suitcase devoured by the bayou? Check. It even spat a quarter back out at me. Excuse me, that was worth a lot more than a quarter, and I think you and Julia need to have a word. Zombies? Double check. They're even more worthless than the idiots back home, since they have nothing of value to snatch. There's gotta be some kind of zombie 7-11 around here that they'd need their wallets for, right?

I didn't come all the way from Japan just to sit in the bayou with some crappyass, hand-me-down shotgun waiting for the freaking undead to rise out of the moss. Don't even get me started on the venus fly-trap that I could've sworn was trying to flip up my skirt just now, and--

... ghhhh.

Relax, Nao. Relax. Deep breaths. Deep. Here we go.
[/private]

Ahhhnn, is there anyone preferably tall, dark, and ha~ndsome that could help a poor girl out? I'm all... alone out here, and it's so dismal and scary. I... I could repay you in ... some way, I'm su~re. ♥ ♥ ♥

Character: Honshou Chizuru
Series: Bleach

Canon: Chizuru is one of Kurosaki Ichigo's
classmates and a mainstay of the supporting cast's comic relief
division. Those of you familiar with the novel Good Omens may
recall the phrase "gayer than a treeful of monkeys on nitrous oxide;"
well, that's Chizuru right there. Chizuru likes girls. A lot. Her
tastes lie in the realm of "cute and femmy"--she is in very overt
pursuit of the adorable and buxom Orihime, much to the consternation
of Orihime's best friend Tatsuki, which leads Tatsuki and Chizuru to
argue a lot (and, occasionally, inspires a little physical violence on
Tatsuki's part). Chizuru tends to laugh such episodes off, though;
she's a cheery and carefree sort of girl who just isn't bothered by a
whole lot.

(Oh, and in advance, Maka-Maka has nothing to do with Bleach--it's a
manga
that, let's face it, Chizuru would totally read.)

Hello hello he~llo! Honshou Chizuru here,
arriving in America for a lovely vacation in the lovely city of San
Francisco! Which sort of raises the question of why I am standing in
the middle of a dank and smelly Louisiana swamp instead. This is a
bit beyond the level of your garden-variety luggage mixup (though
apparently there was one of those, too, and long story short, I've
been left with only my purse. Better than nothing, I suppose, but the
Maka-Maka I'd packed! It's gone!).

That question'll have to wait, though; for some reason, things get
hazy between my realization that I had landed in the completely wrong
state and my arrival at what claims to be a summer camp. A
girl's got to live in the present, even if the present's a little hard
on the eyes and nose. But you know, I think it won't be so bad! See,
there're all these gross creatures here--and most of them seem to be
zombies! It's like being in a campy horror movie. And if I know my
campy horror movies, there must be cute girls (who, ideally,
should be dressed in cutoff shorts and tank tops) in need of either
protection or, heh...comforting in the vicinity. I can
smell it. Not even the stench of rotting flesh and...well,
whatever that smell coming from the infirmary is can conceal the
sweet, sweet fragrance of purehearted damsels just waiting for
the right girl (me) to divest them of a little of that purity.

And I mean, come on. This place even has "fuck" in its name! So very
unsubtle. Of course, it also has "die" in its name,
but...I'm going to assume that's a clumsy reference to "the little
death" and leave it at that.

Character: Ash
Series: Pokemon (http://serebii.net/anime/characters/ash.shtml ) (http://www.pokemopolis.net/frames/character1.htm)

Canon: Ash Ketchum is a Pokemon trainer from
the little town of Pallet. His goal is to become a
Pokemon Master, to catch and train all the Pokemon he
can and to compete in the Pokemon League. Ash is not
the brightest of characters, (once mistaking a car
full of cheerleaders as Pokemon) and often rushes head
first and fist-flying into situations. He is stubborn,
confident, easily excited, extremely lucky, and prone
to temper-tantrums, but cares deeply for his Pokemon
and friends. His first and favorite Pokemon, Pikachu,
is also his best friend. Ash has had a long-standing
rivalry with Gary Oak, who has recently opted for
Pokemon researching rather than battles.

HA! See Gary?! I told you I wasn’t afraid to come to
this Camp U Die! (Mom said I shouldn't say "Fuck" ):)
Just because you wear one of those funny white lab
coats doesn’t mean you know everything!

Man, this place seems so great so far! Dunno why Brock
and the others didn’t wanna come. I’ve seen a lot of
new Pokemon, but my PokeDex can’t seem to recognize
any... Oh! But I think I did see a neat Feraligatr
near the lake, except this one was bigger and greener
(and I think I heard it talk). I wanted
to catch it but Pikachu kept tugging at me to go the
other way. Too bad, they could have been friends!

Some of the people here aren’t all that friendly
though ):< There was this huge crowd of sick-looking
people that kept chasing me. I think they wanted to
battle me (I don’t blame them! I bet they’ve heard of
my awesome skills!). But Pikachu wouldn’t fight! And I
would never make Pikachu do something it doesn’t want
to. We have a special relationship like that!
8D

Oh, oh! And I got this neat new pokeball called a
“shotgun.” I could have sworn I’ve seen Team Rocket
use something like this… oh well! I’m gunna use it on
the first new Pokemon I see!! Man, I’m so excited, and
Pikachu is too! It’s trembling with excitement! C’mon
from under the bed, pal! We got some exploring to do!

Character: Tsukiyono Omi

Canon: Tsukiyono Omi is a bright, sweet boy who
just happens to kill people for a living. His team,
Weiss, works as florists by day and assassins by night
(no, really), taking orders from super secret
organization Kritiker (which is run by his super
creepy grandfather). Rosenkreuz is the school the Bad
Guys use. For people who know Weiss canon, this is Omi
not too long after the end of the series: after he's
met his creepy grandpa but before he starts using
Mamoru and being all Machivellian

[confidential to Kritiker]

5 am, 8.7.05:

Have successfully infiltrated Camp Fuckudie.
Speculation that the camp is a secret Rosenkreuz
training facility seems plausible; fighting the
zombies, goats and gorillas hones survival skills
quite effectively and why didn't anyone
tell me my poison darts don't work on
zombies?, and the psychic toucans are good
practice for dealing with telepaths.

However, the campers are not up to what we consider
Rosenkreuz standards...though they do display an
astonishing range of skills and powers and
some of them are really hot.

I will have a full report upon extraction, which
should be scheduled for today. There is no more to
learn here and I don't know what will happen
to the rest of Weiss if they're left to themselves for
too long.

11 am:

Still awaiting extraction notification. Recommend that
a team come quickly, as there is only so long I can
hide behind the Mess Hall.

3 pm:

The gorillas are getting suspicious. Where is the
team?

8 pm:

Grandfather, get me out of here.

[public]

11 pm: Hello everyone! My name is Tsukiyono Omi. I'm a
florist from Japan. It's very nice to meet you all.

...does anyone have a cabin I could stay in?
