I have to admit, that one about Elyan makes me curious.

There’s no evil scheming from Morgana this week, but Agravaine is doing his best to make up for it
Me thinks this might be a side plot to the main action. This should probably be the lead up to 4x09. Maybe Agravaine tries to offer someone else up as the traitor now that he has exhausted the Gaius front. He knows it's only a matter of time before Arthur comes around to him again, so he's got to find a scapegoat quick. Hands-up who thinks Gwen is next...?
Merlin is appointed ‘Acting Physician’
I love the idea of a mini-Gaius moment. I love it when Merlin goes into mini-Gaius mode. The only thing I'm wondering is why Gaius doesn't go. Maybe that's part of Aggy's scheming too? It could be that he somehow keeps Gaius occupied in Camelot so he can send Merlin off to be done in by the illness or something.
Gwen gets a big adventure outside the castle
This is brilliant. But the question is - why? Is it literally a case of the illness only affecting men so she goes because she's the only woman left in Camelot?

Yep I think so. I think that Agravaine will move on from Gaius and onto Gwen. And remember Agravaine and Morgana said they wanted to destroy Gwen in 4x02 so it's very much possible that Agravaine will begin to do that this episode. Or at least they will be a little lead up.

Yep I think so. I think that Agravaine will move on from Gaius and onto Gwen. And remember Agravaine and Morgana said they wanted to destroy Gwen in 4x02 so it's very much possible that Agravaine will begin to do that this episode. Or at least they will be a little lead up.
