That was wonderful. Arthur kept the professional demeanor throughout the consultation and I have to love him for saying Pinning them back would be a crime against nature and then surreptitiously asking his almost patient out. He's gong to be great for Merlin's self esteem.

I wanted to make sure that Arthur put his job before his own self interest, but still went with his heart in his advice to Merlin. :)

Love this, because honestly it hurts my heart when stories make tacky comments about Merlin's ears :( Good job you for defending him!!! And I love that Arthur was quite definite about there being nothing wrong with his ears and then asking him out :-)

I completely agree. People really need to leave poor Merlin's ears alone, they're lovely! (and, apparently, this Arthur is of the same opinion. ^_^)
