Summary: Callie finds something she doesn't like in Arizona's closet.
I finally did it! After three freak outs, a couple Spanish rants, and a pep talk from Mark, I finally asked Arizona to move in with me. But oh no, I didn’t stop there! I not only asked her to move in with me, I asked her to buy a house together. No one ever accused Callie Torres of only doing something half-ass. When I go, I go big!
That’s what led me here, standing in Arizona’s old apartment packing all of her things into boxes. While packing is definitely not one of my most favorite things in the world to do, the thank you I was promised later was more than enough to persuade me into spending my day off doing manual labor. Plus, I really love learning new interesting little facts about Arizona from all the little things she has around her place. For instance, she is firmly Team Edward judging by the bookmark and the keychain she has on her set of spare keys. As cute and Arizona-ish as it is, now I have to live up the stupid sparkling vampire.
After I finish packing up the trinkets in the small entryway, I decided to head to Arizona’s spare bedroom and pack up the things in there while Arizona finishes with her bedroom. There’s not much in here, other than the extra bed and dresser, so I make my way to the closet to begin boxing away all of the out of season clothes and shoes. In the back of the closet I find a bunch of old poster boards and charts from presentations Arizona must have done during med school and at medical conferences. Yep, my girl’s a genius. As I started taking all the charts and what not out of the closet, one picture caught my eye…. Cindy Freakin’ Crawford! And she doesn’t have much on other than the mole!
“I had a poster of Cindy Crawford on my wall, and I wasn’t just looking at her mole. It wasn't news to my Mom when I brought somebody home named JoAnne.”
So that’s what she was looking at! Well she does look nice in that barely there bikini. Huh, wait till Ari sees me in a bikini, I’ll show her Cindy Crawford! She doesn’t know what she’s missing; she’ll be thinking ‘what mole?’! I mean yeah Cindy Crawford has nice legs and flat abs, but have you seen my boobs! My boobs are waaaay better than Cindy Freakin’ Crawford’s!
I’m brought out of my inner battle with Cindy Crawford by Arizona standing behind me.
“Calliope, what are you doing, I can hear you grumbling to yourself all the way in my room?” She asks me in a tone both amused and worried.
I jump at her sudden appearance and turn around to accusingly show her what I’ve found. “I’m sorry, I was just a little surprised to find that my girlfriend has posters of half naked women lying around the house! I didn’t realize when you said you had a poster of Cindy Crawford on your wall as a teen, that it was a nearly nude poster! And that you still had it!”
I didn’t mean to come off so angry, but how am I suppose to compare to Cindy Freakin’ Crawford. Mole or no mole, the woman was hot! I can admit it, but I don’t have to like. And I definitely don’t have to like Arizona liking it!
Arizona must have found my anger amusing because next thing I know she’s nearly rolling on the floor in hysterics. “It’s not funny! How would you feel if I had a poster of some naked guy on my wall that you had to look at everyday and know that I had teenage fantasies about?!” I ask a little unsure and still a little indignant.
Arizona must have sensed the insecurity in my voice because she immediately stopped laughing and took the poster from my hands throwing it somewhere behind her.
“Oh Baby, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to laugh. It’s just that I haven’t seen that poster in years, and the only reason it’s here is because Dakota brought it when he helped me move in. He said something about not wanting me to be too homesick and lonely so he brought my girlfriend along.” Arizona chuckled lightly remembering the lighthearted teasing from her brother. Despite my previous feelings, I still couldn’t help my smile at the twinkle in her eyes as she talked about her brother. I was already softening towards her and my mini freak-out over Cindy Crawford.
Putting her hands around my neck, Arizona continued slowly, “I haven’t thought about Cindy Crawford and her mole since the night I kissed this super hot brunette in a dirty bar bathroom. And when I have fantasies now, they’re not about some too skinny, bikini model.”
Arizona was now nibbling on my earlobe, as she whispered in my ear, “You want to know what I fantasize about now?”
All I could do was gulp and nod. Damn, this woman knows how to get all hot and bothered in an instance.
“Now, I fantasize about this gorgeous Latina.” Kiss. “Whispering dirty Spanish phrases to me.” Kiss. “While she does things to my body that I’ve never even dreamed of,” Arizona breathed into my ear as her hands some how found themselves under my shirt.
“I also fantasize about doing very naughty things to said Latina because I find her incredibly sexy and breathtakingly stunning,” She slowly breathed out against my skin.
She was making her way down my suddenly naked chest with her kisses, when she spoke again, “You want me to show you what I fantasize about doing to you?”
Again, all I cold do was gulp and nod.
As I let myself be dragged to the bedroom I couldn’t help but boast, “Take that Cindy Crawford!”
The laugh that escaped Arizona was enough to make me forget all about Cindy Crawford and her mole, and focus on the fantasy of mine own that was about to come true.
