Like you, I bought Asimov's at Border's. Of late, I've felt a little disenfranchised by this magazine. I end up quitting on about half the stories.
So far in this issue, I quit on "Poison". I tried starting it a second time, and I quit again. Authors who start out with pronouns for characters test my patience. Yeah, he got around to naming his protagonist, but by the time he did, I was so mad I didn't care.
I did finish Jack Dann's "Cafe Culture". Not bad, but try reading him out loud. Ya need a BIG breath to read a sentence in that story.
Haven't read the others yet, but nothing has passed the glance test.
I started reading "Safeguard" on Asimov's website. It's really gripping and emotionally engaging. Of course, to read the ending, I would need to buy the magazine. Hmmm. Maybe I'll just stop by at Borders or Barnes & Noble and read it right there. :-) If they still have it.
