Pre-emptively activating the Zen of Kripke. Kripke has a plan.

I LOVE this. I want an icon. (And The Unannatural Order should be another icon obviously)

Dean's face of extreme glowering at Alastair!!! Oooo!

I KNOW! I can't wait for that screencap.

What happened during that time that might be arc-advancing for Dean to remember it now? *ponders*

Wow, you are SO good. I love it.

And crap, I have to go. I will return shortly and finish this.
Yay! Show is BACK!

Ok, back, and yes to everything I didn't quote. :)

I think what Tessa said to Dean and the end bothered me so much because I took it as her telling him he wasn't going to Heaven, he was stuck doing whatever the angels wanted and then he was going to the pit anyway. Have we had any canon about if Dean is still locked into his deal? I have been reading so much fic lately I almost thought canon removed his deal and not some awesome author. LOL

I am SO PISSED about Pam. It was SO unnecessary to kill her off. I agree with esorlehcar's post about this ep.

I can't quite put how I read that conversation into words yet (needs moar brain) but... I think Dean's view that the angels should be helping them out, and why doesn't God do something that pops up once in a while is what's being challenged there, obliquely and not in so many words. That yes, Castiel dragged him out of Hell, but it wasn't for tea parties ( ... )

I would be much happier if that is NOT the way she meant it so I'll go with your theory. :)

Ok, so I didn't catch the "pale horse" thing when I saw the episode, so now I'm kermit-flaining all over the place. Perhaps for season five? THAT WOULD BE SOOO COOL!

Death rides a pale horse as one of the four horsemen of the apocalypse. Other horsemen: Famine, Pestilence & War

Hee! We were answering at the same time :-) My boss kept walking behind me as I was typing or it would have been simultaneous.

Huggy Bear was a character on Starsky & Hutch. I'm thinking it must be a reference to getting hooked up with drugs, maybe, because Huggy always seemed to be a little on the seedy side of the street. I didn't catch it closely enough to know for sure, but that's the only Huggy Bear in television I know.

Huggy Bear was Starsky & Hutch's street informant - so I think you have got the reference a little wrong but the character right.

Ah, okay. I was never a Starsky and Hutch girl. Dukes of Hazzard, yes. :-)

What's stunt-casting?

Well, now I might.

*glee*

What's stunt-casting?

Stunt-casting is when there's an actor playing a guest-starring role who is 'known' for other roles and is in the show partly or wholly to try to cross-pollinate the audience for the show with people who tune in specifically because of the actor. Examples from Supernatural include Linda Blair, (from The Exorcist, way back) who played Diana Ballard in Usual Suspects, and Tricia Helfer (plays a big role on Battlestar Galactica). who played Molly in Roadkill.

I'm guessing either I didn't recognize the actor that was being referred to as the stunt-cast, or the post I saw that mentioned it was misusung the term and was referring to the return of Pam and Tessa.
