To be considered for teacher certification (or certifiable if you choose to look at it so)one must pass the GACE tests in the field of study after completion of course work at an accredited university. I just heard last night. I am sorry to hear about the split. It can be very hard to endure. It was for me. I am at 770-547-6002 if you want to talk or whatever. It is almost apple season again...my favorite time for picnics. :)
