I seem to have vertigo. I think it's gotten better since I got up--I've been trying to consume lots of fluids. WebMD says that it might be a brain tumor (or, you know, lots of other things), but is unclear about whether or not vertigo can be the RESULT of dehydration. Yeah, I think that's what it was. I drank a lot of fluids and it went away, anyway.

You might also have a little fluid/congestion in your ear. I get dizzy when my sinuses drain a lot.

Also, try tilting your head in the direction of the spin. Oh, wait. That's for driving on ice.

I think it was probably dehydration, since fluids seemed to help and it went away.

I did have vertigo in high school when I had that savage inner ear infection, though. Thank god this vertigo didn't actually cause vomiting.

especially when it's probably those blood thinners they have you on causing the vertigo. You take care!

I think it's more likely that the blood thinners are causing my periodic light headedness when I get up too fast--the vertigo was just the one day and after my dosage had been stable for a couple of weeks. But don't worry, I'm monitoring myself.
