The garbage truck is coming around despite the fact that it's only Monday and technically Trash Day is Thursday. I guess they're making an exception for Moving Day(s

That girl is irritating me and I'm half a continent away from her.
And... yeah. That's about it. I should probably go back to the gym, since I've been using Diana's old exercise bike in the basement and it sounds like it's going to collapse every time I heave myself onto it.
Your irritation threshhold is one of the things I love about you, donna. :D
I'm finally off--just put on sunscreen for the walk over there. I haven't burned ALL SUMMER (miraculous) but I've still freckled like crazy although I use SPF45.
Becky was in Madison on Saturday and, as far as I can tell, was at one point well within a mile of you. She commented on how many people she saw moving before realizing they were all students.
I know for sure she was the university hospital and that they drove around the area looking for a restaurant afterwards.
She has an aunt who lives in Madison who is in the hospital. Becky and her mother and her other aunt went to visit her on Saturday.
After the fact, I mentioned to her that she was probably close to you and she said she'd have gladly dumped her mom and aunt at the hospital and gone to see you in order to avoid going in the hospital where she was flirted with by a manic-depressive patient who also hit on her mom. :-)
where were we?rebeccahinesAugust 15 2005, 22:47:42 UTC
We came off 12/18 and turned right on John Nolen (?) drive. It was left, left and a right and left somewhere in there.
We saw some liquor store that claimed to have had wines from around the world. After that visit and the whole surreal day, a few bottles would not have been out of line.
I'm trying to think about what else we saw. I was too busy shooing off poor back seat driving by Lucy and Ethel to really remember landmarks.
I grew up in subdivisions and apartments that didn't have screen doors or porches, and when I moved to Michigan I was initially very uneasy about stepping through a screen door to knock on someone's door. It felt like I was invading their home before they even knew I was there. So maybe that was sorority girl's problem.
*dies* Oh man that is too good... But from what you said I guess she does seem rather SMRT. I've always found those personalized licence plates rather obnoxious. I'd much rather have a normal one that looks like it says something.
