Ok. Even if you're not a total and utter U2 nut, who gets a sick sort of pleasure from watching a few misguided individuals attempt to rip off her babies and seeing them die on their arses, you still need to check this out.
I present, for your viewing pleasure,
the adorable brunette from NSYNC doing a cover of Mysterious Ways. Complete, of course

It had pretty much everything they used in music videos. Computer effects, reversing footage, super imposing things for reasons they are never explained. Heck, the only thing they left out was the way too long pause at the end of the video and it would have been perfect.
MacPhisto horns?

Heee! Yeah, my fave bit is when it goes "if you wanna kiss the sky, better learn how to kneel", and he does that twirly-twirly thing with his hair, then spins around, then drops on one knee, like some kinda Greek statue or something!
Great choreography, JC. Real great.
Aw, and the bit towards the end when you see OMG A DOUBLE SHOT OF JC IN ONE FRAME!! Now that's hawt.
*shudder*
MacPhisto horns?
Yes, MacPhisto horns. Mr MacPhisto was one of Bono's alter-egos, as it were, for the ZOOTV tour in the early 90s. Supposed to be a cross between Elvis Presley and the devil. So yeah, thought I'd display some extreme U2-geekery and wear devil horns to the gig. Cos, y'know...don't you think I'd look hawt in a pair of red plush horns from the Warehouse? :P

Yeah definitely, the devil horns sound hawt.

I've actually gotta confess I've never actually seen any ZOOTV footage yet, even though most U2 devotees reckon it's the greatest thing that's ever happened to humanity! ;) Have seen plenty of photos though, and that costume is pretty freaking legendary. But yeah, for the meantime, I'll stick with the horns. :P

Wear the horns! I need to buy some of my own. And if it could be feasibly cheap, I'd make a whole costume. And I'm not even going to a concert! I'm just weird!

Oooh, heck yes! My mate is planning on having a 90s party for New Year's, and I am quite seriously thinking of putting together a MacPhisto costume. Except I don't think I've got the courage to wear pants that tight. They may have suited one particular cute little Irish arse...but I'm not sure how well *this* Irish arse will cope...;)
Erin, you're a cracker. Get some sleep, woman...
Oh gawsh...did you just totally crack up JC trying to do the falsetto bit, just before the second chorus? And he realises he can't quite crack it, so he like shouts it instead?! *dies* Oh, the blasphemy...

Yeah, I expected Lily Allen to be all...I dunno, all crazy and quirky, and actually sing decent rock/blues/folk music, and have a really unique voice.
But, when I walked into Sounds the other day, and her CD was playing, I could feel my innards start to shrivel up. Ew.
And now I've got that bloody "Make Me Smile" song stuck in my head, cos it's on some clothing ad. That'll learn me for getting addicted to Rock Star Supernova. Sad one.
What did you think of the JC vid?

Oh and Lily Allen sings like me on a bad day :P
