I can also see this as a postgame lyric.
Asch is emo and pissed. Really. Luke sees that and frankly, he's confused. As far as he's concerned there's no reason for this psycho bitch to be calling him trash.
Heh, as far as I'm concerned there's no reason for Asch to call him trash either. XD But I'm extremely Luke-protective, so that may be it.

Oh, fascinating! The curious thing is that when I read this, the first thought that came to me was Jade, although later I realised that Guy would be a better fit. But maybe it was the last two lines that made me think of Jade. Although perhaps that attitude is more Dist.
For Luke, I think, this represents his finally realizing the reality of certain situations he couldn't fully grasp before. So it's not going to be feathery bed he's sleeping in from ( ... )
