St. Valentine's Day Smut-a-Thon 2011
It's that time of year again everyone! Time for the annual Stranger Things Valentine's Day Smut-a-thon! Are you excited? Cause we sure are! This year we are doing it a bit differently and using this community to allow people from all over Livejournal to participate! Thanks to damnskippytoo for writing up the rules and guidelines for this ficathon.
THE RULES
1. Anyone can comment on this post with ideas/prompts (see below for details).
2. Writers will comment on this post to sign up to write a fic.
3. Once we have collected all the ideas/prompts, we will post the list in a separate prompt post.
4. Writers will go to the prompt thread and select an idea or set of prompts on which to base their fic.
5. The writers will PM xlivvielockex their top 3 selections or comment on the prompt post. Livvie will let them know if they are okay to write their first, second or third choice based on availability.
6. Completed fics will be posted to the community beginning Feb. 13th and run until they're all posted, of course. Hopefully, that will be by the 14th, but it's fine to keep posting after that.
7. Before the author posts their fic, we will inform her/him who provided the idea/prompts so that fic will be dedicated to that prompter.

FIC CHALLENGES OR PROMPTS - Everyone can submit an idea for a smutty fic!
♥There are no limit to the number of prompts you may submit.
♥They can be in either challenge idea form or prompt form:
Prompt Form - A minimum of 3 words in a list. It can be more than 3 words if you wish
Challenge Form - Submit a plot idea in no more than a few sentences.
♥Since this is a smut-a-thon for Cordelia/Angel, the fic must primarily be about them - i.e. no three(or more)somes, and no fics in which Cordelia sits in a corner watching Angel having sex with another character, and visa-versa.
♥If you would like to see a crossover fic, be specific about the fandom but please do not specify other fandom pairings that must be in the fic. You may specify a pairing(s) that you absolutely do *NOT* want, but that's it. We must leave some creative leeway and consider the writer's preferences. Plus, if you're too restrictive, it's less likely your prompt will be chosen.
♥The deadline for idea submission is midnight, January 12th. That's roughly one month of writing time so let's get those plot bunnies hopping as fast as we can.
♥All the prompt suggestions are screened. They will posted in the prompt post on January 13th.
♥This is a ficathon for smut so let your freak flags fly. If there's a specific kind of kink you've always wanted to read, now's the time to submit your idea. Hopefully we will have a lot of ideas to choose from, so not everyone's prompt/challenge will be picked (but there's always next year). Due to the nature of the smut-a-thon, if you want your prompt/challenge to remain anonymous, let me know.

WRITERS
•Please post a comment to this thread expressing your commitment to take up a challenge and write a fic.
•You will then PM xlivvielockex or comment in the prompt post with your top 3 choices and Livvie will okay you to begin writing or let you know if all of those challenges are already claimed. If they are, you must choose another idea.
•If, during the course of writing, you decide the prompt/idea isn't working for you, you may request another idea from the list as long as it isn't already claimed.
•When you have finished your fic, inform Livvie and Livvie will let you know whose idea you selected so that you can make an acknowledgement in your fic masthead (unless the person wants to remain anonymous).
•You should post your fic beginning midnight (ET) February 13th.
•Your fic MUST be primarily C/A in content and smutty/romantic to some extent. It can be any genre from fluff to horror to angst to parody - whatever you're comfortable writing.
•Your fic does not have to be NC-17 level smut. You can write a hot makeout session or cuddling, whatever you feel comfortable with as a writer as long as it is in the spirit of the smut-a-thon.
