Summary: Jun was finally able to have a rest from work.
Top male model Jun Matsumoto fixed his sunglasses, adjusted his fedora, then turned around. He stepped back and scrutinized his reflection on the mirror. He flicked his tongue, slightly pulled his sunnies down and winked. It was the perfect pose for a magazine cover. The thing is, it was in the middle of winter and the pandemic made the fashion industry limit its activities.
In other words, Jun had no modelling project, although his agency promised a continuous salary.
Lucky him.
He let out a long sigh as he threw his fedora on his bed.
He was bored.
He looked at his phone and checked if there was any message for him.
It was empty.
He was anxious. He was used having a busy life. Then, all of a sudden, he had so much time for himself.
At first, he was joyful for having a long and paid time to rest. However, boredom is starting to drag him down.
He missed the chaos in the changing room and the excitement before walking on the runway. He missed the adrenaline rush whenever they had to quickly change clothes before going back to the runway. He missed wearing odd clothes and accessories while trying to maintain his composure and grace in front of his audience.
And with that, he slowly fell asleep.
Suddenly, he felt a nudge and someone shouted at him. "Wake up, Matsumoto! There is no time to sleep in the backstage. Get in line! You'll go to the runway in five.. Four... Three... Two... One!"
As the spotlight almost blinded him on the runway, he walked with his signature swagger and winked at his audience.
