Positive news from Gothenburg today, dad had manage to breath on his own for 15 minutes two times today. He still has the tracheotomy thingy in his neck, but they remove the oxygen cord for some time to make his own lungs do the work instead. Today wasn't too bad. Dad was slightly more conscious and seemed to recognize us when mum and I arrived in the morning. The infections where up a bit after all the work during the week-end, but otherwise he was quite calm. He can't speak yet, but maybe in a few days. Third day in Gothenburg, yet again. I'm heading back down to Lund tomorrow. Dad has been so-so, we had some good hours yesterday and even today, managed to make meatballs that he actually ate for once.

Well, we finally have the train tickets back home for tomorrow afternoon. It's been a long week in Gothenburg and I'm dying for some time on my own, no family in sight. My dear flat!

In Gothenburg for third day and running. I thought I was lucky when I came up here on Friday, just half an hour late with the train, and found the streets considerably less snowy than in Lund. It started snowing this morning in Lund, and I had to wait for the bus in very wet snow. Had a pretty awful train ride up, so many people and not enough seats. Father's Day here in Sweden today, and our brother came over this afternoon to celebrate dad. My sister stayed on for another couple of days, so the whole sibling clan was gathered.
