I've seen Michael Franti live twice and both times it was an unbelievably heart-opening mind-opening experience for me. He is an extraordinary man, and I've never seen anyone calmly, without much agenda beyond "be nice to each other", unite so many people into one uniform expression of joy / love / fear for the future / hope for the future.
