I am looking for recommendations please. I studied German in high school and college, an dI would really like to refresh those skills. I've lost most of the vocabulary, although I feel like I retain a good portion of the grammar ( Read more... )

When we were in Guatemala, I considered buying Harry Potter in Spanish to see if I could muddle through it and start to pick up vocabulary by forced osmosis. Fiction meant for teens has the advantage of simpler vocabulary and sentence structure.

Combining that with your desire to have it on your iPod would lead to juvenile fiction audiobooks. Here is the Amazon.de main page for audiobooks. A HP book on CD is about $100, ouch.

Someone told me that the King County Library system offers Rosetta Stone language learning stuff completely for free courtesy of Microsoft. Viel Glück!
