As a citizen, I currently have little faith in the security and reliability of our voting technology, and many doubts as to the motivations and allegiances of those who make and certify voting machines. I am further convinced that voting irregularities disproportionately affect Americans of color, and those of lower incomes. Such a state of suspicion is untenable in a democracy. Please act now, for everyone's sake.
I don't really have high hopes that this will change the election results--after all, if you can afford to rig the election, you can probably afford to cover it up--but I still think it's important that these things be looked into, for future elections if nothing else.
Still, I have fantasies of Bush being impeached and removed from office in a blaze of scandal and shame that would make Clinton look like George Washington. :) "Moral values," indeed.
