Rock sustenance

Gearing up for all the SXSW running around, band after band and free drinks I make an effort to have things in the magic white box (what the mister calls the refrigerator) that will help us hit the ground running with a good base. Today was spent making whole grain bread, a cheddar broccoli quiche, roasted kabocha squash and a pot of beef stew. It was nearly ninety degrees today so the kitchen was steamy.

We saw an excellent band last night, The Spook School are a four piece from Edinburgh. I hope we get to see them a couple more times because we liked them so much.
