Would it be condescending to say I knew there was something wrong about Lia?  Probably.  But I did.  On the one hand, I'm glad it wasn't a Thorne that did it, because that would mean I'd have to risk expulsion, again, by taking care of them, but on the flip side I'm going to be frustrated about sitting on my hands and letting the Roses take care of

I feel bad for Lia, but....not too bad. She made her choices.

Definitely - I can't imagine what the faculty might have done if that had been the case.

Yeah, she was misguided...but like you say, she made her choices, same as we all do. She'll just have to live with hers.
