The usual disclaimer...the plane crash outside Buffalo last week was a tragedy, and my heart goes out to the families of the victims...that said:

WTF CNN???  Trying to dig a crawl space beneath your all time low?  The next morning's coverage, which hubby and I watched for about 20 minutes

I grew up near the Pittsburgh airport (my high school was about a mile away and had almost no windows to keep it soundproof). Yeah, they get loud and feel like they're landing on your roof. But CNN showed residents having fits about that too.

I think you're right. They're really getting worse.

God, yes. When Anna Nicole Smith died, they were fucking 24/7 on it even when nothing was actually known yet. (I only noticed 'cos I was in a bar where it was looping on the screen, and I watched in increasing appallment. Appalledness. Appallation. Thing.)

Today, they finally said the thing in the sky over Texas was probably a meteor. Way to tabloid it up, oh "most trusted news source".
