So let me tell you all about yesterday.  We made some kind of rice stuffed things. Steamed.  They are apparently a Korean specialty, special for the harvest holiday.  Yeah, uh, they weren't bad but Korean tastes are not American tastes.

And, I got my package.  Yay!  I wore the shoes around for a little while, and showed of my science encyclopedia.  ( Read more... )

When you refer to the 'rice stuffed things,' are you referring to 'songpyeon?' I didn't like songpyeon at first, but after three years in Korea, I am now starting to adjust to it.

It's wonderful to hear that you are trying to keep the sabath. I think it's very important to take rest time out and share fellowship with other church members, or spending some quiet time 'reconnecting' with god.

Science encyclopdia? Sounds very interesting. Exploring science is a very good way to spend any spare time which you have. I hope you enjoy many happy hours of reading.

Cheers

Andrew

lol, yes, I was referring to songpyeon. I just couldn't remember the name. And, yeah, a science encyclopedia. I'm a little like a black hole when it comes to absorbing random facts so it's good to have something like that around to keep my brain satisfied.

Was good to see you at church. Hope your ethics blog is doing well. Your vacation sounded very cool.
