beautiful end, i love how pike brings their relationship to a head... especially when the two of them team up to suck on his head.. holy god almighty that was hotter than the earth's core, it seriously slew me -HARD. poor McCoy though, thinking he was coming so close to the executioner's blade and at the hands of the person he's come to treasure, so much nervousness ... sooo much angst!! so much hotness!!! i adored it!!

Yay, this got posted! I couldn't resist the WIP snippet over at jim_and_bones but I know sometimes those things take ages to finish, if they're ever finished at all.

The idea of Mirrorverse Academy fic (so rare!) had me excited right off the bat, and boy did you deliver. I love the relationship you wrote here, how it evolved and unfolded. I loved the premise with Pike's deal -- you're really, really good at Mirrorverse interpersonal politics, and this was no exception. Everything about this fic was so strong, at once so overwhelmingly detailed (27k! I nearly passed out with glee!) and tantalizing (the little sex snippets, the three days with the sex pollen, the fisting, mrowr). It really deserves pages of commentary but it's one of those stories that's so flawlessly executed that it feels like there's nothing to say afterwards.

So in conclusion: dayumn.

Thanks so much m'dear! I'm always wary of falling in love with WIPs, because it's always a crapshoot whether they'll come to fruition or not. Luckily, in this case, I sent that snippet in about 6 weeks ago, so I was conveniently ready to post the story!

The interpersonal politics of the mirror!verse are really interesting to me, because navigating even the most innocuous of relationships becomes so dangerous. Then when you throw in power and ambition and the Imperial Fleet, well, poor McCoy had a lot to deal with. Anyway, I'm so very glad you enjoyed! Thanks you for letting me know what worked for you :)
