My Dad sent me home with a few family photos to scan for him.  Some of them were in good shape and some of them had some bad creases that needed to be touched up.  It was a lot of fun to see them.  Here are a couple:

I banded my bronze mannikin finches yesterday and finally, finally have harmony in my main aviary. There was always one troublemaker and now, through the miracle of color-coding, I was able to figure out which one it was and reorganize everyone so they're getting along now. I hope. Poor Sadie has proven to get really car sick, so after her 4.5 hour ordeal, she really didn't want to do much more than sleep. She's got such a sweet personality though, always wanting to be near you and sleep on top of you. She hadn't walked on a lead before, but she took to it fast ( Read more... )

Okay, big puppy, but I am super excited to be driving out to pick up a 5-month-old Irish Setter puppy in a few days. (She's already 30 lbs!)

Her parents are gorgeous. I'll definitely be updating with cute half-grown puppy pictures next week.

I really want to play this one. It's so gorgeous. I love their clothes. Even the gameplay examples look great. I've been feeling the urge to start a new MMORPG, too, although this one won't be released for quite a while. Must infect friends, lol.

Aya has been in and out of the vet hospital all year with bladder problems, estrogen deficiencies, ear infections, the discovery of some really bad spondylitis in the lower half of her spine/tail, and finally a truly awful skin infection that the vet had to shave big patches of her to treat (I called her zombie dog).  The shaved bits were so ( Read more... )

Magazine photos for Doll Reader interview (if they publish it) are finished.  Donation jewelry is finished and photos are submitted.  Two more jewelry commissions are photographed and sent for approval. Two hours spent on art commission.  And it's Friday, one of the rare non-sweltering summer Fridays around here.  What more can a person want? 

How did I end up with two rayguns?  Gorgeous as they are, one will have to go.  This one is for sale ($50+shipping), less than the $60 retail because it's missing a tiny piece at the end.  Box and the little stand shown in the picture are included.  Fits perfectly with SD13/SD17 sized boys, although it's a little heavy.
