Puppy!

Okay, big puppy, but I am super excited to be driving out to pick up a 5-month-old Irish Setter puppy in a few days. (She's already 30 lbs!)

Her parents are gorgeous. I'll definitely be updating with cute half-grown puppy pictures next week.

And because I don't have any puppy pictures yet... I bring you the terribly lovely parents:

See pictures under the cut. )

Yeesss... I'm sure to inflict many pictures on you. Must think of a good name to call her. Her papers have the super-cute name Hummingbird on them, but that's a bit of a mouthful for everyday. (Aya's real name is Unchained Melody)

Puppy therapy is the best kind. Just the thing for a crazy holiday.

Absolutely!

Do Irish Setter pups have disproportionately large snouts? Because when they're adults, their noses are long and shiny and fabulous. So I've always assumed they've got hilariously "too big" noses when they're puppies.

I'm REALLY looking forward to pics. :D

My last one looked like a big cocker spaniel when she was around that age. The feet especially, those are huge.
