A Couple of Links

Cat woke me entirely too early for a weekend, so I'm quietly killing time in the computer room until Mr. Brienze wakes up and I can turn on the teevee and knit. You would think knitting is a quiet activity, but you'd be wrong. ;)

I've seen several of my friends try out the "You Write Like" meme... I recommend this analysis of the site to you: httpRead more... )

I'm sorry about your cat. It sounds very similar to what our Clare (who turned 13 this week) went through before we got the cancer diagnosis, and I hope that whatever is wrong with her it isn't that.

Did it not show up in Clare's blood tests right away? That's why I can't understand why there's no diagnosis... they've done a full CBC, and xrays and ultrasound didn't show any masses or anything odd about the lining of her guts.

It didn't, but apparently that's not uncommon with this type (which is also very rare in cats). First there's a skin lesion, then a mass, then you're out of luck.

:( Poor kitty. Our cats gets fed every morning at 5:50 AM, even weekends because my husband has spoiled them that way. God forbid if he is ever not here to feed them, cause I sure as hell am not getting up at 5:30 just to feed the cats.

I have found that they do not actually perish if they're not fed at the accustomed time, no matter what they'll try to tell you.

Dot gained .2 lbs! Going to keep re-checking every few days, and she has to go back to the vet in two weeks anyway to recheck potassium, but it's a hopeful sign.
