On Friday night I helped captainecchi and electric_d_monk run the fantastic League of Extraordinary Hogwarts Students. I loved playing this game, and I only wish I'd had time to study everything more carefully. I read all the character sheets and the rules, but  I still wasn't quite familiar with the inner workings of the game to be all that useful as a GM. I mostly got

Strangely, although 2/3rds of my characters have been villains, people still trust me in LARPs. Hmm.

I thought katiescarlett29 and nennivian were both awesome in LXHS!

I confess I was more worried about that game than any of the others--I'd gotten the impression somehow that it would be chock full of combat, to the point where I actually had a stress dream where the larp was taking place in a completely dark building and folks were being picked off and turned into vampires. (Oh hello folks who haven't played yet! Don't worry; in the real game, they let us use candles)
