It's so nice to see "Up" getting some credit for that storyline. I was touched by it, far beyond my expectations for a children's movie.

I agree. I was surprised at how they handled that.

I so agree with this comment and the picspam dedicated to it, it was truly a breathtaking sequence.

I loved Bright Star. But I will see Ben Whishaw in absolutely anything.

Aw, and I loved Rupert and Emily as Albert and Victoria. ♥ I couldn't decide at first if I did, but their first scene really sealed it.

Absolutely agree about Bright Star. That movie was so beautiful it broke my heart. I pity people who couldn't recognize that.

I just read your other reviews, and damn, I totally agree with the rest of them too, especially with what you've said about Potter, Star Trek and Time Traveller's Wife. :) Unfortunately, I must be made of stone, because even though I bawled my eyes out at the end of Bright Star, I didn't shed a tear during the first 10 minutes of Up. ;)

Haha, thanks. I actually didn't cry the first time I watched Up cause I saw it in 3D and the glasses distracted me too much. To me, it was actually sadder when I watched at home.

I agree. I can't believe how little attention it's gotten.

I've only seen 500 Days of Summer and Up. I loved them both! Great choices.

Oh, and Dear John is alright, mostly due to the marvelous Amanda Seyfried, but Valentines Day is awful. My friend had tickets to an advance screening yesterday. It was just horrible.

I love Amanda so I kind of do want to check it out even though Nicholas Sparks makes me want to vomit. The premise actually sounds interesting to me in this one and it's much more relevant these days.

She's definitely the star. She outshines Channing by thousands. Too bad most girls are just there to fawn over his hotness.

And yeah, I don't like Nicholas Sparks either, though A Walk to Remember was okay. I disliked the Notebook and Nights In Rodanthe though.

LOL, Channing seems like he's just there to be eye candy.

I'll usually sit through a Sparks movie if an actor I like is in it. I'm excited for Amanda's career cause now it seems like she can carry a movie to be a hit.
