I thought it would be fun for Diana to be addicted to pizza, and then to hook Medea! ;)

“Medea,” Diana said gently, “I have a mate.”

Medea scoffed. “What of it? Love is not for two people only, as Aphrodite says. Besides, it is not a real mating.”

“You sound like the homophobes in this world, Medea. They consider marriage between two women or two men to not be ‘real’.”

I like that Diana pointed this out to Medea. I don't think it'll change anything, but hopefully give her something to think about.

Great chapter!! More soon? =)

And I just read today that California has ruled that gays can marry in that state! It's going to take years, but eventually gay marriage is going to win out.

She seems quite riled up!

People definitely steer clear of her! :)

“Don’t fight it, Medea. Embrace this culture. Or at least its pizza.”

ROFL! This is one of the best lines ever. Indeed, any culture that has pizza just can't be all bad. :) Medea continues to be fascinatingly complex--polite to older people, but dismissive of Steve, fierce and passionate and interesting. Villain or not, I like her a lot!

Absolutely! :)

She's fun to write, I must say. :)

She's afraid that Steve will hurt Diana, and there's a history between her and Diana.

And she's taking her cue from Hippolyta, too.
