OK, I have a problem... how can you draw something this amazing and then refer to it as 'another boring crosshatchy pic'??!!!
Whatever people think of the story / the concept of getting a tattoo or anything like that, surely no-one could fail to see the total awesomeness of this picture?
Once again, your meticulous detail just blows me away, and the way the clothes drape and hang is absolutely beautiful. I love it!
I think it's hugely emotional, I particularly love the way John has his head turned away and slightly down, you can really see how he is feeling.
I also wanted to ask you - this story is posted on FanFiction.Net and I would like to put a link to your associated artwork on my profile page, if that would be alright with you?
If so, would you prefer that I linked to your LJ page here, or to DeviantArt?
I must ask somachiou too, she's done some gorgeous pictures for this story also, although in a very different style to yours.
Still can't believe it, to be honest - I had no idea anything like this would happen when I started writing, I was surprised that anyone wanted to read it actually, let alone do such incredible art work :D
yeah, ^___^ i've found you on FanFiction.Net and have downloaded the TRLT in adobe reader, but i prefer the details in LJ version<333333
you r going to put it there too? srsly? gaaaah!XD whatever you prefer! OMG! it is my great honour!
i love somachiou's pics too =D and some other arts ppl made after reading your novel. you are so inspiring<333
when i have finished reading TRLT my first thought was to buy a ticket to London, find you and give you a big teary hug. then i calmed down realizing no1 is lookin' 4 it^^; then i thot i must design a book and illustrate it the best i can. for some reason it feels appropriate to do in graphics. then i thought the book is not a gd gift cuz some1 cld find it out. but we cld send it to Gatiss! lol, i think he might like it XD
CAN I MARRY YOUR ART!? Seriously, this is brilliant. I don't think I normally do a good job imagining scenes when I read something, but well, for one think I know what I'm going to picture from now on when I read this part of the fic again!
Gee, if you call this "boring" then amazing for you must be FREEKING GODLY for us! xDD Hahah, anyhow, I suppose I understand how it could be "boring" because with a (as I call it) pen and ink style things can be mundane because everything is textured and everything looks full of detail. I used to do a lot of pen&ink for my high school art assignments and I normally have that problem of things looking like a blob of gray from a distance. UGH. Anyhow, I've never etched before and have only tentatively read about it so I don't know much, but hey, if you say it looks better then I'll trust you on that. Even if this for me is still FREEKING BRILLIANTYou know what else I really love about your two TRLT illustrations so far? I don't know if you did this intentionally, but the style and presentation of

guush! it's the biggest comment i've ever received :D thank you!
f%ck yeah! it wld be muuuuuch better in etching.*whines* Gaaaah! *embarrassed**blushed*>____<' so kind to me!
oh wow, if it reminds you of the original illustrations then cool!:D i'll try to use other things in further work however. more or less this is modern Sherlock..
Thanks a lot for being so kind ^w^ i am really glad you like my work!:D
Ahhh yeah, I tend to ramble on sometimes. xD;; *shrugs* But you'll probably have to get used to it haha. =3=
Heh, I think that's what was surprising for me at first, because it's modern Sherlock so I to see something reference things from the Victorian times (or so). Hahah, well, I'm going to look forward to anything you draw because it's going to be brilliant. XD
Just wanted to say this is bloody amazing. Seriously. It is... I don't have adjectives good enough for it, really, I'll just go with 'perfect', which is really too pedestrian to convey how awesome I think your work is.
